Overview
Across Africa, Emergency Medicine is now well recognised through the efforts of the pioneers of the last decades. We invite submissions to an AfJEM special issue focusing on the educational needs and successes of African emergency education. There are many nuances and angles – whether its postgraduate EM speciality training programs – their development and outcomes; implementing EM training in undergraduate medical programs; EM education for other professions: nursing, prehospital, community healthcare workers etc; or short course training across the many elements of emergency care. And also topical is assessment of training such as work based assessments and entrustable professional activities.
