Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as a versatile class of materials with remarkable properties, revolutionizing various fields including energy and environmental applications. In this special issue of Materials Science and Engineering B, we focus on the advanced applications of MOFs in addressing the pressing challenges within the realms of energy and the environment.
