Our world is facing escalating environmental challenges due to the extensive release of CO2. The production of concrete annually consumes 4-6 billion tonnes of cement and generates 8% of the total global CO2 emission. It becomes increasingly significant and urgent to lead the carbon-intensive construction industry towards carbon neutrality. This Special Issue is dedicated to reporting recent research in effective capture and utilization of CO2 technologies by construction materials, especially in waste and concrete. The scope of this special issue includes, but is not limited to:
