We welcome submissions of manuscripts that broadly employ geochronologic methods in economic geology and regional geology that relate to critical minerals deposits. These studies would provide insights into various aspects of mineralisation models, including sources of magma, alteration processes, mineral precipitation sequences, movement of faults, regional exhumation and exposure of deposits, and others. We invite contributions exploring both traditional and novel techniques, including but not limited to ion probe, laser ablation, noble gas or solution-based methods (e.g., U-Pb, Re-Os, Ar/Ar, etc.). We particularly welcome submissions that present multiple methods involving geochronologic approaches and others to advance knowledge around critical minerals systems.
