Overview
Augmentative biological control has evolved over time into complex systems based on repeated releases of multiple species of mass-produced natural enemies, particularly, but not only, in greenhouse crops. The conservation of these released natural enemies for developing pest resilient cropping systems has become an important field of research, and related to that, how species interactions and climatic conditions affect the results of biological control. With this special issue we would like to collect scientific studies that address these topics and show the latest developments in augmentative biological control.
